Goodbye Compass – Hello PRONTO!!
Starting September 1, 2021 MTS and NCTD riders can use the new regional fare system, PRONTO. PRONTO will replace the Compass Card and Cloud systems entirely, offering riders a better payment experience when choosing transit. We know riders have lots of questions about the transition from Compass to PRONTO. You can read more specific information HERE.
Have you received your new PRONTO card yet? (The app will be available starting next week!) We have 3 more weeks of transit center outreach before free rides in September! (Free rides only avalable with PRONTO card or app.)
Be sure to prepare ahead of time to use the new PRONTO system for fare collection, as well as checking out the bus and trolley schedules. Hope to see you there!
